EF Education Summer Educational Homestay Program in Newport
EF EHP is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting international student exchange. Our programs allow students ages 12 to 18 to experience life North American style, as they perfect their English skills on programs lasting from 2 to 8 weeks. This summer we have 34 Spanish students (ages 14-18) coming to Newport for 4 weeks to strengthen their English language skills. (June26th-July 23rd).
We are currently looking for families that would like to host these students for that time period. Families who are willing to share and exchange cultural values and could provide an open bed, an extra plate at the dinner table, and a warm welcoming environment would be ideal candidates to host a student. While the exchange students are in Rhode Island, they will take language classes in the morning, and participate in group activities during the afternoon. The students are with EF educators and Program Leaders from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
